SREES IS LOOKING FOR THE MARGINALIZED GROUPS FROPM THE URBAN SLUMS OF VIJAYAWADA.

Dear All

In continuation to its efforts of raining cum placement of the youth, SREES is looking for the identification of the marginalized people from the urban slums of the Vijayawada. 

It is in the the process of community mapping for the creation of awareness, identification of the marginalized groups, registration and other formalities. 

It will be posting more on this and readers can refer such candidates for the training cum placement.

SREES NEEDS SUPPORT FOR THE EMPOWERMENT OF YOUTH AND OTHER MAGINALIZED GROUPS..

Dear All

Based on the earlier postings made on this blog, SREES is trying its best in empowering the youth and other marginalized groups so they will get better opportunities for employment /  livelihoods.

Since its inception in the year 2007, it is continuing the activity of training with facilitation for employment / livelihoods based on their skills, needs and vulnerability. 

One of the key limitation in reaching the unreached is the RESOURCES. It is getting the support from the Government for limited period. As there exist very large number of such unreached people who needs to be reached with innovative and creative strategies & interventions. 

In this process, SREES is in search of mobilizing matching resources. It is using all the e-technologies to connect with the stakeholders all over the globe.

Looking forward for getting support and thus to move forward to enhance the quality of life of the people with sustainability.

SREEES WITH MARGINALIZED GROUPS

Dear All

In the process of community mapping, SREES could identify other marginalized groups living in the parts of Krishna District who are struggling for basic / critical needs. The initial screening and assessment helped to understand their vulnerabilities, skills and needs to move forward. Later it is understood that their poor education, skills & capacities have become the barriers in availing the opportunities of revenue generation.

In other words, Availability, Accessibility and Affordability  are the key challenges of these marginalized group and got isolated from the mainstream. In the prevailing dynamic and complex environment, the targeted groups were enable to access the existing opportunities.

Under there vulnerabilities and circumstances, SREES felt that SKILL DEVELOPMENT  is the better option in enhancing their opportunities as an empowerment both socially and economically. Finally this leads for their INCLUSION with better participation.

More will be posted on this process for getting better support and guidance.

SREES WITH TARGETTED GROUP INFECTD WITH HIV / AIDS

Dear All

As indicated in the previous posting, SREES has done the community mapping in identifying the group infected / affected with HIV / AIDS.

In this process, it has identified a group more than 100 in number who got infected with HIV / AIDS.  After detailed discussion, it is understood that the group is getting the support for the medical and pension.

As all of them are the victims of POVERTY, they are finding difficulty in day to day living.

This is happening as they are getting opportunities for creating better livelihoods.  

In view of their vulnerabilities and circumstances SREES is planning to skill development trainings so that they start working from their home itself. This process is expected to work for revenue generation  so that they full fill their critical needs. 

SREES is in the process of searching the funding support for conducting vocational trainings and to facilitate for revenue generation.  In this process SREES will be posting more and more so that the targeted group can  be made part of the community as contributing members with participation.
