With the experience gained till today, SREES is successfully completing the year 2012 and preparing to enter into 2013. 

SREES has improved its SWOT and enhanced its Brand Value among the stakeholders and social sector. 

The trainees of SREES have got better opportunities to improve their economical position as an empowerment. This further motivated other people from their communities in terms of both Quantity and Quality. 

SREES is looking forward for developing sustainable solutions matching to the skills, needs, local resources, opportunities and vulnerability.  

SREES keeps the health and wealth of the people as well the environment so that SUSTAINABILITY  can be achieved.

SREES FOR BETTER LIVELIHOODS

Dear All

SREES is continuing its community mapping in identifying the targeted groups of people who have poor skills and access in getting the critical human needs. 

In addition to its expertize in skills enhancement, also trying to develop need based modules for creating livelihoods mostly at their community or very near to that. 

The targeted groups includes: Disability, HIV / AIDS, Orphans and other vulnerable groups.

SREES IS IN THE PROCESS OF REACHING THE STAKEHOLDERS FOR SUPPORT

SREES is continuing its activities of empowering the targeted youth with the support of Government, Private Industries and Donors. These services have created significant impact in the lives of the trained youth along with their family / community.  This transformation has motivated others to join in these training cum placement.

SREES is continuing its community mapping with better participation in other social & cultural programmes of the communities. This helped them to map the targeted groups, skills, resources, challenges and opportunities.

This process has helped SREES to make its action plan matching to the needs, skills, vulnerabilities and opportunities so sustainable solutions can be offered. This further expected to improve their empowerment both socially & economically and thus enhanced quality of life.  

In reaching these targeted groups who are unreached with sustainable solutions, SREES needs support from all the sectors for developing required infrastructure and running the projects.

SREES WILL COTINUE ITS ART & PAINTING SKILLS

Dear All

As exhibited earlier, the Founder of SREES has got excellent skills in Art & Painting. Theses skills were well established and proved at various forums.

These skills have been well appreciated by the stakeholders. Several students / trainees who have been trained under SREES have transformed it into their livelihood as a special opportunity.   

In addition to the regular activities,  SREES will promote the special skills established in the area of Art & Painting. This trade needs support from you all so that the traditions, culture and human values can be retained by way of depicting them in the form of Art & Paintings so that the message goes to the people with innovation.

This one of the novel way the SREES is planning to enhance the human values so that we all can move towards the sustainable development with enhanced quality of life. More will be posted in this direction.......

SREES WITH DISABILITY ACTIVITIES...

Dear all

In addtion to its key area of creating employment opportunities by way of "training cum placement", SREES has made initiation in reaching the children with disabilities. 

In this direction, some families have been identified  while be part of the Medial Camp organized in the Krishna District recently.

After identification, it has started making assessment and family counseling. This has given motivation to move forward. 

More will be done in this direction and will be posted in all its forums.

In continuation to its efforts of raining cum placement of the youth, SREES is looking for the identification of the marginalized people from the urban slums of the Vijayawada. 

It is in the the process of community mapping for the creation of awareness, identification of the marginalized groups, registration and other formalities.

SREES NEEDS SUPPORT FOR THE EMPOWERMENT OF YOUTH AND OTHER MAGINALIZED GROUPS..

Based on the earlier postings made on this blog, SREES is trying its best in empowering the youth and other marginalized groups so they will get better opportunities for employment /  livelihoods.

Since its inception in the year 2007, it is continuing the activity of training with facilitation for employment / livelihoods based on their skills, needs and vulnerability. 

One of the key limitation in reaching the unreached is the RESOURCES. It is getting the support from the Government for limited period. As there exist very large number of such unreached people who needs to be reached with innovative and creative strategies & interventions. 

In this process, SREES is in search of mobilizing matching resources. It is using all the e-technologies to connect with the stakeholders all over the globe.

SREEES WITH MARGINALIZED GROUPS

Dear All

In the process of community mapping, SREES could identify other marginalized groups living in the parts of Krishna District who are struggling for basic / critical needs. The initial screening and assessment helped to understand their vulnerabilities, skills and needs to move forward. Later it is understood that their poor education, skills & capacities have become the barriers in availing the opportunities of revenue generation.

In other words, Availability, Accessibility and Affordability  are the key challenges of these marginalized group and got isolated from the mainstream. In the prevailing dynamic and complex environment, the targeted groups were enable to access the existing opportunities.

Under there vulnerabilities and circumstances, SREES felt that SKILL DEVELOPMENT  is the better option in enhancing their opportunities as an empowerment both socially and economically. Finally this leads for their INCLUSION with better participation.

SREES WITH TARGETTED GROUP INFECTD WITH HIV / AIDS

Dear All

As indicated in the previous posting, SREES has done the community mapping in identifying the group infected / affected with HIV / AIDS.

In this process, it has identified a group more than 100 in number who got infected with HIV / AIDS.  After detailed discussion, it is understood that the group is getting the support for the medical and pension.

As all of them are the victims of POVERTY, they are finding difficulty in day to day living.

This is happening as they are getting opportunities for creating better livelihoods.  

In view of their vulnerabilities and circumstances SREES is planning to skill development trainings so that they start working from their home itself. This process is expected to work for revenue generation  so that they full fill their critical needs. 

SREES is in the process of searching the funding support for conducting vocational trainings and to facilitate for revenue generation.  In this process SREES will be posting more and more so that the targeted group can  be made part of the community as contributing members with participation.

SREES IS PLANNING TO WIDEN ITS SERVICE SPECTRUM

Dear All

Initially, SREES has focused more on the Skill Development and later added the component of PLACEMENT. It has given sustainable solutions to the Trainees and momentum to move forward. This EMPOWERMENT both Socially and Economically has made the Trainees to bring impact with the family and community. This is the positive step to move towards sustainable development with solutions matching to the local challenges, resources, opportunities and needs.

While moving with the community and other stakeholders, SREES come across the issues of other marginalized groups like: Persons with Disability, People infected / affected with HIV / AIDS, Widows, Senior Citizens, and others. In addition, the challenges with WATER, SANITATION, AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION, POLLUTION, EDUCATION, have become alarming and people are suffering with the availability, accessibility and affordability of the  critical needs.

Keeping these issues of the people living in Krishna and its surrounding districts, SREES is widening its SERVICE SPECTRUM with creative and innovative strategies and interventions. 

In process of reaching the people who needs to be reached, SREES needs support from all the stakeholders whom it is going to reach through all possible ways.

SREES IN SKILL DEVELOPMENT

Dear All

With the experience gained by the successful completion of the Skill Development cum Placement with th support of Government of Andhra Pradesh through Rajiv Yuva Kranalu (RYK), SREES is moving forward to reach the unreached youth of Krisha and its surrounding districts.

The model of RYK presented at the recent Eluru Seminar has given clear understanding of the scope in the area of SKILL DEVELOPMENT.  

It is the process with EGMM, MSME, NABARD, KVIC and other Departments to get the support in the form of Projects.  

In this direction, SREES needs the support from all the Departments in creating better employability which further makes them EMPOWERED for leading enhanced quality of life.

The exposure at this Eluru Seminar has given opportunity to network with other Institutions mainly the Academic and Industries. This s a good beginning and preparing to move forward with better networking so it can have the benefit of sharing and learning.

SREES AT NATIONAL SEMINAR ON GENDER MAINSTREAMING

SREES has made initiation to be with the National Forums for sharing its strategies and interventions developed and implemented for the empowerment of the youth. As indicated in the last posting, SREES has successfully completed the training cum placement of 542 youth of Krishna District. 

O 3rd of Sept. 2012, SREES made presence with the presentation of paper on "GENDER MAINSTREAMING - SKILL DEVELOPMENT AS AN EMPOWERMENT FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT" at the National Seminar on Gender Mainstreaming - Issues and Challenges organized by Sir CR Reddy College at Eluru. 

The whole process has been well appreciated and several Delegates have shown keen interest for its continuation.

SREES WITH RAJIV YUVA KIRANALU

As posted earlier on this blog, under the banner of RAJIV YUVA KIRANALU, Government of Andhra Pradesh, SREES has successfully completed the training of 542 youth of Krishna District  and placed more than 80% in the employment.   Others have initiated self employment in their own communities.

This is the highest by any single Institute and got appreciation from all the concerned authorities. 

With this positive response, SREES is moving forward to reach more such targeted groups with sustainable strategies and interventions. 

SRES is going to continue this these training progammes and more will be posted on this blog.

Recently with the support of people's representative, identified a group of around 100 women infected with HIV / AIDS. Based on the first hand information, the group is getting the support for the nutrition and health care. 

In addition, the group needs support for the creation of livelihoods. Our Organization is in the process of providing training in suitable trades like: tailoring, painting, and other local trades where the group can plan for the self employment as an empowerment both socially and economically. 

In this direction, SREES needs support for conducting training programmes an facilitating services for initiating livelihoods.
